The Legacy of The Raisingghs Kull 2025 Web Series Review

Kull – The Legacy of the Raisingghs plunges into the fractured world of a royal family in Bilkaner, where faded opulence masks deep-seated turmoil. The title, “Kull,” meaning family or clan, sets the stage for a saga of personal grudges, political schemes, and buried secrets. Despite its promising setup, the series falls short of its potential, delivering a middling viewing experience.

Directed by Sahir Raza, the eight-episode series centers on Raja Chandrapratap Raisinggh (Rahul Vohra), a bankrupt patriarch clinging to the illusion of royal splendor. His death under mysterious circumstances unravels the lives of his three children: the fiercely devoted Indrani (Nimrat Kaur), the driven Kavya (Ridhi Dogra), and the tormented Abhimanyu (Amol Parashar). The arrival of Brij (Gaurav Arora), Chandrapratap’s illegitimate son, intensifies the family’s already strained bonds.

The narrative spirals into a whirlwind of betrayal, paranoia, and shocking revelations, with the half-hour episodes maintaining a fast pace. Yet, the storytelling often feels fragmented, with the characters’ personal struggles loosely tied to the overarching battle for palace control. While the series gestures toward profound themes like generational trauma and loyalty, it skims the surface, leaving the emotional and psychological depth of its characters underexplored.
